Ken’s story

“All day, every day, there are people knocking at their door across the street! Very often people come and knock at our house and ask for cheap cigs.”

Ken is in his 70s, retired with a disabled wife. He has a lot on his plate.

“I get so cross, particularly if my wife Annie has only managed to get a few winks of sleep, as it wakes her up. Every few days, a very flash car turns up with some shady looking characters and drops off bags of tobacco and picks up wads of notes – they must be making a fortune. It’s not right. I see kids sometimes in their school uniforms buying cigs on their way to school – they must know they are underage and just don’t care.”

The above story is based on a report that we have received.
