Cut-price cigarettes have left a barber with a £1,500 fine after a huge haul of illegal tobacco was seized.

Acting on an anonymous tip-off, trading standards officers found 81,000 Russian, Polish, and other foreign brands worth £34,000 hidden in the basement of the Darwesh Barber shop in Liverpool Road, Eccles.
